DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

The company we work for successfully develops software for the entertainment and event industry. One of the products was even used at the 2024 Olympic Games. Although it has become the subsidiary of a big group, the entrepreneurial spirit is still alive. We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to expand their versatile and friendly team.

  • Troubleshooting across the stack: GitLab CI/CD → Build → Container → Kubernetes → Infrastructure → Network → Application
  • Automating recurring operational processes and creating and maintaining documentation and runbooks
  • Supporting the technical operation and maintenance of applications, configurations, and monitoring stacks within the operations environment
  • Contributing to projects focused on automation, efficiency improvements, and the introduction of new technologies

Your profile:

  • Initial hands-on to several years of experience in application operations, DevOps, or systems-oriented software development
  • Solid fundamentals in Kubernetes (workloads, services, ingress, configuration, troubleshooting) as well as Docker (Dockerfiles, image builds, registries)
  • Good Linux knowledge (processes, systemd, permissions, logs) as well as solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, ports, load balancing)
  • Initial experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)

  • Initial cloud experience, ideally with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC)
  • Good Bash skills as well as basic knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell
  • Confident use of Git (branching, merge requests, conflict resolution)
