Technical Program Manager (m/f/d)

The company we work for successfully develops software for the entertainment and event industry. One of the products was even used at the 2024 Olympic Games. Although it has become the subsidiary of a big group, the enterpreneurial spirit is still alive. We are currently looking for an Technical Program Manager (m/f/d) to expand their versatile and friendly team.

Your tasks:

  • Own the delivery of the platform from initial concept through production and ongoing operations
  • Turn product ideas into realistic, well-sequenced execution plans and drive them through to successful delivery
  • Coordinate across teams and organizational boundaries, including collaboration with partner teams
  • Identify and manage dependencies, ensuring the critical path remains visible and on track
  • Proactively identify risks and remove blockers, rather than simply reporting them
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations to ensure the platform is stable, observable, and resilient in production
  • Drive delivery cadence and represent the program during quarterly planning
  • Partner closely with the Product Manager and Tech Lead to align execution, priorities, and delivery

Your profile:

  • Several years of experience leading complex software programs across multiple engineering teams
  • Strong track record in managing dependencies and critical paths, ideally across organizational boundaries
  • Solid technical understanding of distributed backend services and web frontends, with the ability to challenge estimates and technical assumptions constructively
  • Structured, proactive communicator who remains calm and focused under pressure
  • Passion for leading through collaboration and influence rather than hierarchy
  • Open, approachable personality with a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in both German and English
